Cerddwn Ymlaen trek comes to an end
The 200 mile Cerddwn Ymlaen trek in aid of Wales Air Ambulance was successfully completed by tired walkers.
The walk started in Swansea on Saturday 13th July and ended in Caernarfon on Saturday 20th July and our DreamSeeker tourer was with the marathon walkers for every step of their journey.
The charity walk, led by opera singer Rhys Meirion, used our DreamSeeker as a back-up vehicle and it acted as a hub for the crew during the walk.
Wales Air Ambulance charity staff prepared and served snacks and light meals for the walkers from the DreamSeeker throughout the eight day trek and the media team dealt with all of their press activity from our 20 foot tourer.
Adrian Parry-Jones, Managing Director of Fifth Wheel Company, said: “We were delighted to be part of such a big event and to support a Welsh charity.
“The achievements of the walkers is incredible and we are very proud of each and every one of them. We look forward to extending our partnership with Wales Air Ambulance and supporting them in the future.”
So far the Cerddwn Ymlaen trek has raised over ?70,000 but donations will remain open until November and it is predicated that funds will reach ?92,000.
