Fifth Wheel extends Apprenticeship scheme

Following the success of its Apprenticeship scheme last year, Rhuallt based tourer and caravan manufacturer Fifth Wheel Company is recruiting two more Apprentices.

The company is searching for young people to join the growing business as manufacturing Apprentices following the appointment of four Apprentices last year.

This year’s cohort of Apprentices will be trained in all aspects of assembling and fitting out a range of modern tourers and caravan units, plus they will earn a Level 2 NVQ qualification in manufacturing as part of their on-the-job training.

Adrian Parry- Jones, Sales Director at Fifth Wheel, said: “Last year we launched our Apprenticeship scheme as we wanted to give local young people the opportunity to get hands-on experience, gain a qualification as well as earning a wage at the same time.
“We hired four Apprentices last year and they are all now really thriving within the company.
“Due to the success of the scheme, we are looking to appoint two more Apprentices. We are looking for hard-working and motivated young people who want to kick start their manufacturing career.”

Lee Evans, 18, from Kimmel Bay, started his manufacturing Apprenticeship at Fifth Wheel 12 months ago.

He said: “I decided to do the Apprenticeship as I wanted to gain more practical skills in manufacturing. It is very hands-on so I have learnt so much and it has really improved my confidence.
“I think an Apprenticeship is the best way to learn a trade like manufacturing as you combine real work experience with studying, which makes you fully prepared for the world of work.”

The Apprentices will work four days a week at Fifth Wheel Company’s main factory in Rhuallt and one day training at Llandrillo College in Rhos-on-Sea.

Inos British Caravan

The Fifth Wheel Company is truly a family affair. based in the stunning North Wales countryside of Rhuallt, Denbighshire, we founded the Fifth Wheel Company in 2002.

Touring with your own home behind you gives you the freedom to travel where you want, when you want – you’re in control and literally in the driving seat. So when you have that kind of freedom in your life, why should you ever have to compromise on your own personal style and comfort when traveling?

If you’re looking for a caravan that doesn’t make compromises but instead epitomises exclusive design, is incredibly spacious and simply takes your breath away, then the award-winning Inos is for you.

Hand crafted in our factory in Rhuallt, North Wales, the British-built Inos caravan doesn’t just stand out from the crowd; it takes caravanning to the next level and beyond. It cleverly combines five-star hotel luxury with an outstanding build quality and all the practical features required to make travelling across the UK and abroad a breeze.

Launched in 2011, the Inos caravan, with its innovative slide-out section, has the wow factor that many caravan buyers have been yearning for, and still we are the only manufacturer of EU compliant slide-out tourers.

We’d love to meet you
