Fifth Wheel unveil their new caravan
Last week, after many months of excited anticipation, we launched our first ever caravan, the Inos, at the Boat and Caravan Show at the NEC.
The new addition, which is Europe’s first production line caravan with a slide out, was extremely well received with the show’s visitors as well as the industry’s press, with one editor predicting it to be ‘the caravan market’s biggest success of 2011.’
The Inos, which we hope will revolutionise the caravan market, has been built to suit the needs of the modern caravanner, with its sleek exterior shape and an interior modelled upon our luxurious fifth wheel tourers.
With such a positive response, it was also great news to hear that the Inos won an award at the Caravan Club Caravan Design Awards, coming in 3rd place for the best caravan over £20,000 category.
But for those wondering how the caravan got its name, the Inos comes from the Welsh word Ty unnos (English one night house), an old Welsh tradition which meant that if a person could build a house on common land in one night, that the land then belonged to them as a freehold.
Our stunning features include: 2m headroom; stylish LED lighting; island bed; underfloor heating; stunning Italian walnut finish throughout; high security locks fitted to all doors; stainless steel unit surrounds and high scratch and wear resistance HPL kitchen worktops.
Technically speaking, our caravan boasts class-leading levels of specification with an IDC anti-snake trailer control system, Winterhof 3000kg coupling and a payload up to 600kg.
And if that wasn’t enough, the Inos also features a four element vacuum bonded body panel including a wood free body preventing damp, GRP construction that is dent resistant and a 35mm panel thickness with superior Styrofoam insulation throughout.
Similar to our fifth wheel tourers, the Inos has been designed to be towed by larger 4×4 vehicles. Prices start from £36,000.
